Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Recreation Attendant to join our team at the Kununurra Leisure Centre (KLC). This role is responsible for supervising patrons across the aquatic, splash park, and gym facilities to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all users.

• Monitoring patron safety and behaviour
• Providing first aid and emergency assistance when required
• Delivering high-quality customer service and providing information on facility rules, programs, and services
• Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of the leisure facilities, including pools, change rooms, grounds, and surrounding areas
• Supporting community events, children's programs, and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Strong communication and supervision skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Customer-focused approach to service delivery

Requirements

• Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Experience in aquatic facility operations and youth supervision
• Current Bronze Medallion Certificate (highly regarded)
