[Hiring] R&D Tax Credits Engineer @UHY International

Role Description

As a (R&D Tax Credit) RTC Engineer or Scientist, you will work with our team of technical consultants to analyze, identify, document technical activities and how they generate tax incentives that strengthen our clients’ businesses.

• Analyzing engineering or scientific concepts within a broad range of industries
• Assist in conducting fieldwork, which may include visiting the client location, touring client facilities, investigating relevant facts, analyzing operational procedures & documentation, summarizing procedures and examples of such
• Assist in preparing cost lead schedules and cost summary schedules, completing appropriate computations, and preparing written reports summarizing the findings
• Ensure that client projects are conducted in accordance with firm standards and completed on time and on budget
• Manage various project and delivery schedules to ensure client needs are met within appropriate deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related engineering or scientific field
• Strong command of technical concepts with 2 to 5 years of engineering or scientific experience

Requirements

• Candidate must live in the region where his/her clients are located
• This is a primarily remote role, with occasional time at a local or regional UHY office
• Intra-regional travel to client sites is common
• Occasional overnights may be required, usually 5 or fewer per month
