Role Description

This position oversees compliance to the policies, procedures, work instructions contained in the quality management system.

Responsible for exercising the disposition of material placed in the “Material Review Bay”
Act as a resource to Plant personnel as trainer on quality system documents and record keeping duties
Document and data control oversight in Plant
Ownership and maintenance of measurement devices
Corrective and preventive actions and their follow-ups
Oversight of quality records held in Plant
Process auditing for compliance to procedures
Implementing statistical control of equipment and processes
Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non-conforming material
Ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.

Qualifications

Good written and verbal skills are required
Detail oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System
Quality system training is preferred, but not required
Desire for additional formal training should exist
Must have rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exposure to a fast-paced warehouse environment
Ability to work with a diversified workforce required
Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers required
Formal quality training is preferred, but not required
Additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor
