Over two million children live with the severe consequences of untreated clubfoot, and at least 175,000 more babies are born with this condition every year. Thanks to a non-surgical solution called the Ponseti method, 95 percent of cases can be fully treated for less than $500. Since 2010, MiracleFeet’s proven, scalable model is supported by a suite of custom measurement and evaluation tools developed with our partners. To date, MiracleFeet has delivered quality clubfoot treatment to more than 124,000 children in 526 clinics in 37 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa. Summary:

The Prospect Researcher is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying strategic relationships that support MiracleFeet’s growth objectives. The Prospect Researcher will research and engage prospective donors, partners, and stakeholders aligned with MiracleFeet’s mission. They will collaborate closely with the development and communications team to facilitate opportunities that advance organizational priorities. 

The prospect researcher will also support on proposal research as needed in addition to general support to the Head of Strategic Partnerships on different priorities for the development and communications team.

Essential Functions:

Prospect Identification and Qualification

• Conduct outbound prospecting to connect MiracleFeet with mission-aligned individuals, corporations, and foundations.

• Use digital tools and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook) to build a strong pipeline of potential supporters.

• Qualify leads based on alignment, past giving, interest, and readiness.

• Schedule discovery meetings for senior team members; this role does not attend donor meetings directly.

Demand Generation

• Collaborate with communications and marketing to amplify MiracleFeet’s story.

• Identify key markets for paid and organic content placement.

• Drive awareness and engagement around MiracleFeet’s mission and impact.

Strategic Relationship Facilitation

• Work with the fundraising team to identify and pursue connections with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations.

• Coordinate introductions that lead to transformative partnerships and funding relationships.

General Support

• Maintain upkeep of Prospecting and Pipeline documentation.

• Provide support on proposals, applications and letters of interest as needed.
• Support the Head of Strategic Operations on general tasks supportive of the development and communications team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field.

• 1–2 years of experience using LinkedIn and other digital platforms for professional networking, outreach, or lead generation.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking instincts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confidence in conducting cold outreach.

• Familiarity with emerging funding and philanthropy trends.

• Strategic thinking, professionalism, and persistence.

• Strong marketing instincts and understanding of digital platform algorithms.

• Technologically savvy and adaptable to new tools, including AI.

• Membership to AVPN a plus.

We offer a benefits package that includes 90% coverage of medical insurance for the employee, with the option to add family members and dental and vision at employee’s expense. Additional benefits include a 401k with 4% match, three weeks paid time off per year, and short-term and long-term disability and life insurance. This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $25/hour and may be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States.
