  • Provides editorial workflow, including manuscript tracking for the Journal of Nephrology Social Work.
  • Provides technical and logistical support for virtual events such as Project ECHO sessions, podcast recordings, and member calls, ensuring a smooth experience for participants.
  • Performs additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Two to three years of related office administrative, program or project coordination experience; experience supporting healthcare professionals, associations, or continuing education programs a plus.
  • Experience with event conference, or program coordination desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including volunteer healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the commitment to responsive, high-quality customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams; experience with Salesforce or another CRM, social media scheduling tools, or a learning management system a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment; set priorities and manage competing deadlines with sound judgment.
  • Resourceful, collaborative team-player who takes ownership of follow-through and sees tasks through to completion.
  • Ability to travel approximately once per year, typically to the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings.
