[Hiring] Professional Fee Coding Auditor @Cedar Park Group

Role Description

This role involves leading annual audits of professional fee (profee) charts, reviewing both professional and technical charges across multiple specialties.

• Audit approximately 240 profee charts (including professional and technical charges)
• Complete end-to-end audits including scoring, rebuttals, and executive summaries
• Maintain an audit pace of approximately 5–6 charts per hour
• Identify documentation and coding trends across multiple specialties (over/under-documentation)
• Analyze findings, trends, and error rates; develop executive-level reports/summaries
• Meet with leadership to communicate findings, recommendations, and education plans
• Lead formal education sessions (group and 1:1) based on audit results
• Review charge entry sheets to validate charge capture and coding accuracy
• Utilize 3M CAC to validate and verify codes, specificity, and acuity

Qualifications

• Allscripts EMR and Meditech EHR experience
• Experience auditing both professional and technical charges for clinic services
• Comfort meeting with leadership to communicate audit findings, trends, recommendations, and education plans
• Experience creating and conducting formal education sessions (group and 1:1)

Requirements

• Remote flexible schedule
• Part-time to full-time, minimum 20 hours per week
• 3–6 month assignment (possible extension)
