Role Description

As a Procurement Specialist, your job is to work with lighting vendors and project sales representatives to coordinate buyout strategies in order to fulfill the needs of projects based on drawings and specifications.

Procurement Specialists have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with vendors and clients and to learn the business from many angles.

Successful Procurement Specialists are hard working and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This person is an integral part of the Colonial Major Projects team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Internal source of motivation and will to succeed
• Notable ability to communicate, present and negotiate
• Natural desire to shape projects
• Outgoing, positive attitude
• Sense of professionalism
• No problem adapting to new priorities
• Experience with software tools including Excel, Word, and Google equivalents
