[Hiring] Procurement Specialist @Spreetail

Role Description

Join our Procurement Operations team and play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly!

In this role, you’ll:

• Accurately process purchase orders and supplier invoices, ensuring all data is entered correctly in internal systems and aligns with contractual terms.
• Support procurement operations by collecting and verifying vendor documentation, quotes, and pricing to ensure compliance with internal controls and approval workflows.
• Upload and validate invoices in the appropriate platforms, ensuring coding accuracy and alignment with purchase orders and receipts.
• Monitor open purchase orders and delivery schedules to track supplier performance and escalate potential delays or discrepancies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Fulfillment, and Inbound teams to resolve invoice or receipt mismatches promptly.
• Maintain supplier records and documentation (e.g., W9s, insurance certs, contracts) in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
• Assist in sourcing and supplier evaluation activities by gathering quotes, comparing pricing, and preparing summary data for review by Procurement Managers.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual effort, improving data accuracy, and shortening cycle times.
• Build foundational knowledge in procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, or SAP), contract compliance, and category management to support future career progression.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related operations or administrative role.
• Foundational understanding of procurement processes, POs, and invoice workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Requirements

• This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup.
• Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
• 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
• At least 4GB RAM;
• Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system;
• You are required to provide your own dual monitors.
• A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection).
• PC Headset.
• A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.

Benefits

• $4 - $11 an hour.
