[Hiring] Procurement & Operations Officer @Learning Online Pty

Role Description

Learning Online Group is looking for an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to oversee the delivery process of student kits across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. This is a hands-on, remote role where you will work closely with our Australian leadership team, product team, and suppliers.

• Overseeing student kit delivery from start to finish across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada
• Forecasting kit demand and keeping stock at the right level, getting ahead of shortages and overstock
• Managing supplier relationships and negotiating terms
• Raising and managing purchase orders and matching them to supplier invoices
• Coordinating kit changes and new product launches with our product team and suppliers
• Resolving supplier and courier escalations, including regional delivery issues
• Keeping Sales, Marketing, and Student Services up to date on kit changes, and maintaining kit documentation
• Preparing enrolment and kit reports for invoicing, and reporting on budgets and spend
• Issuing student documents such as proofs of enrolment and tax receipts
• Running exception reports and keeping our CRM data clean
• Supporting our finance team with audit documentation
• Spotting where things are inefficient and proposing a better way

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, buying, or supply chain, managing supplier relationships
• Demand forecasting and stock management experience
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience working in a CRM or ERP (Salesforce is a bonus)
• Accuracy with admin and data, even at high volume
• Self-discipline to work remotely and make good decisions independently
• A reliable home setup with backup power and stable internet
• A degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or business, or a CIPS qualification is a bonus
• Experience shipping into Australia, New Zealand, or Canada is a bigger plus

Requirements

• Background in buying or procurement at retailers like Clicks, Dis-Chem, Mr Price, or Woolworths
• E-commerce or fulfilment operations experience at businesses like Takealot, Superbalist, Yuppiechef, or Faithful to Nature
• Supply chain or procurement roles managing imported products or international suppliers
• Experience in subscription box, kit, or direct-to-consumer businesses
