[Hiring] Procurement Manager @TekWissen

Role Description

We are looking for a remote-based Senior Procurement Manager to support our internal business teams with SaaS software contract rationalization and negotiation.

• Ensure that our teams have the items they need to perform at their best.
• Partner with internal teams to develop strategies to support them with existing or new vendors.
• Ensure that vendor requests meet our requirements for security, privacy, and legal compliance.
• Represent the company in discussions with vendors to maintain key partnerships and manage negotiations.
• Build and sustain vendor relationships while driving savings and value for internal business partners.
• Negotiate incoming contracts focusing on technology products (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS) to secure advantageous terms.
• Dive deep on software and technology platforms to understand usage, cost drivers, and ROI.
• Partner with internal teams to develop strategies for upcoming renewals or establish requirements for new technology needs.
• Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors by providing RFI and RFP support to internal stakeholders as needed.
• Partner with IT, Legal, and Security to ensure terms are consistent with legal, regulatory, data security, and privacy requirements.
• Assist with vendor qualification and onboarding processes.
• Assist in driving and identifying potential cost savings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical procurement role.
• SaaS experience required.
• Self-starting, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with experience driving six-figure, multi-year contracts to completion.
• Solid interpersonal and rapport building abilities.
• Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technically savvy, with a high level of proficiency in core SaaS technologies and trends.
• Familiarity with Zip and Ironclad a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset for persuasive value conversations with vendors at an executive level.
• Strong operational business understanding of technology supply chain, including purchase ordering, expense reporting, procurement/sourcing, provisioning and reclamation, renewals, and contract management.
