[Hiring] Procurement/Contract Specialist Level III @Lindahl Reed

Role Description

Lindahl Reed is hiring for a Procurement/Contract Specialist to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) APM-10 in Washington, DC, Germantown, MD, and Albuquerque, NM. This position will support the OAM mission which includes the responsibility for cradle to grave contracts support as well as financial assistance and Interagency Agreements.

• Support activities include planning, solicitation, proposal analysis, negotiation, and award of technical support services, studies, services, supplies, and equipment.
• Products or services include first-of-a-kind items characterized by performance specifications, prototype development, testing requirements, and specialized terms and conditions.
• Provide support services including requirements development, pre-solicitation, solicitation, post-award, acquisition policy, administration, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Federal contracting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the appropriate disciplines, or equivalent.

Requirements

• Provide support in business administration and pre-procurement planning.
• Provide overall business analysis recommendations and reports for this project.
• Provide expert contracting consultation and program analytical activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contracting and financial assistance procedures, types, and methods.
• Responsible for developing, preparing, and presenting terms and conditions in proposals related to the award of contracts.
• Provide analysis of procurement policies and procedures.
• Review project execution regularly to ensure contractual and financial objectives are met.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
