[Hiring] Process Engineer - Logistics @Amazon

Role Description

Amazon Logistics is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed Process Engineer that can drive expansion in our Last Mile Delivery network.

• Responsible for producing and refining process standards, building on current best practices for physical infrastructure.
• Designing Amazon Logistics equipment used across the emerging markets network and beyond.
• Ensuring infrastructure meets safety, customer experience, capacity, quality, and cost goals.
• Acting as a key point of contact for the Process Engineering team, partnering with leaders in the field and other operational support functions.
• Core process infrastructure ownership spans Delivery Station and On-the-Road operations.
• Requires strong leadership, deep customer focus, strong autonomy, and exceptional project management skills.
• Involves regular communication with executors and project sponsors at both the country and WW level.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable partnering across functional business and technical teams.
• Requires strong analytical skills and a data-driven outlook paired with strong intuition.
• Based out of Brazil with regular travel within the country and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or chemical engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Program or project management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and VBA at the intermediate level.
• Experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
• Experience in continuous improvement.
