[Hiring] Principal SAP HCM Consultant @Infosys

Role Description

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training, and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position may require travel to Project/client locations.
• This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of SAP HCM functional experience in a support environment.
• Expertise in US Payroll, Time Evaluation, and master data management.
• Strong functional knowledge of infotypes, schemas, PCRs and wage type configuration.
• Experience working with business users and technical teams to troubleshoot and deliver solutions.
• Exposure to S4HANA, or strong understanding of the S/4HANA HCM Compatibility Pack.
• Familiarity with writing functional specifications and working with ABAP for enhancements.
• Experience with incident/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
