Role Description
The Principal Claims Adjuster leads and oversees the Claims Operations team, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met.
- Provides accountable oversight for the implementation and documentation of policies, practices, and processes.
- Ensures proper licensing and insurance compliance for adjusters.
- Develops strategies including short- and long-term plans to facilitate ongoing work, process improvement, customer relations, and other functions.
- Monitors quality assurance results.
- Directs oversight of adjuster’s ethics, licensing, and compliance.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6 years’ relevant experience to include 3 years’ holding a Level 3 Independent Adjuster License

Education: Must meet one of the following requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one year college)

CIP (Certified Insurance Professional) designation, including:
- C11: Principles and Practices of Insurance
- C12: Insurance of Property
- C14: Automobile Insurance
- C110: Essentials of Loss Adjusting
- C111: Advanced Loss Adjusting
- C13: Bodily Injury Claims
- C112: Practical Issues in Claims Management (must obtain if not already completed)
- Must hold Level 3 Independent Adjusters License with an ability to be licensed nationally
- Only Canadian residents will be considered for this role
Requirements
- This is a full-time position: Days and hours to be determined by needs of business.
- Hours to be determined between employee and director
