[Hiring] Principal Analyst, Medicaid Policy Analysis @Arcadia

Role Description

Customer Insights takes on the work that doesn't fit a one-size-fits-all product — custom data models, bespoke dashboards, registries, and long-running embedded programs — sitting between a platform and a plan.

This role is the first at Arcadia dedicated to Medicaid policy analysis, and it sits on one of our most visible accounts: a state Medicaid agency that is taking direct responsibility for a much larger fee-for-service population. You will work alongside a broader Arcadia team that serves the agency in various ways, including:

• Risk stratification
• Dashboards and reporting
• Quality measurement
• Analytics on the state's Medicaid member and claims data

You will take the lead on the policy-driven analytic work, which includes:

• Interpreting program rules and policy documents into analytic logic
• Building registries, data marts, and dashboards

This work requires:

• Policy fluency
• Customer presence
• Technical skill to build deliverables

You will be expected to quickly ramp up on AI-assisted development tools and use them heavily from your first weeks, with careful human review.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of health programs and managed care plans
• Clinical code and claims fluency (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding and analysis tools
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience building dashboards and reports in BI tools
• Direct customer-facing experience with senior stakeholders
• Sound judgment with sensitive data and PHI

Requirements

• Ability to interpret state and federal Medicaid program rules
• Technical analytical delivery in SQL (and Python where needed)
• Root-cause analysis of data-quality issues
• Serve as the senior analytic voice for state program leadership
• Create client-facing materials tailored to various audiences
