Role Description

As a Pricing & Proposals Lead, you will partner with Sales, Finance, Product, Science, and Operational teams to develop compelling proposals, accurate pricing strategies, and high-quality client-facing documentation that support business growth across a global customer base. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within Life Sciences, clinical research, pharmaceutical services, biotechnology, healthcare technology, or a related industry.
• Experience developing pricing models, budgets, proposals, scopes of work, contracts, or commercial documentation preferred.
• Understanding of clinical research, pharmaceutical development, healthcare services, or related industry practices is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and develop practical commercial solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Develop pricing proposals, descriptions of services, change orders, and other client-facing commercial documents using both Clario and customer templates.
• Review and analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs), protocols, and customer requirements to determine project scope, assumptions, and pricing considerations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Science, Operations, and other stakeholders to develop commercial strategies for complex studies, programs, and strategic opportunities.
• Lead pricing discussions for large or complex opportunities, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, operational feasibility, and customer expectations.
• Develop accurate budgets, pricing models, and financial assumptions that support business objectives and profitability targets.
• Deliver high-quality proposals and associated documentation within established timelines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Perform peer reviews of pricing, proposals, descriptions of service, and change orders to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain accurate project, budget, and opportunity information within internal business systems and databases.
• Ensure proposal files, pricing documentation, and supporting materials are maintained in accordance with departmental procedures and audit requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, assumptions, and opportunities that may impact pricing strategy or project delivery.
• Support customer negotiations and commercial discussions by providing pricing insights and proposal expertise.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on proposal quality, pricing processes, workflows, and documentation standards.
• Support departmental training initiatives and share expertise with colleagues across the Pricing & Proposals function.
• Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
