[Hiring] Political Associate @Mark Kelly for Senate

Role Description

Mark Kelly for Senate is continuing to build its team by hiring a full-time Political Associate to support the campaign’s political operations.

This role will work closely with our political team in supporting the campaign’s political programs. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the political team in building and maintaining relationships with elected officials, candidates, organizations, and community leaders.
• Maintaining tracking and communication systems for supporters, stakeholders, endorsements, and other political relationships.
• Supporting the candidate's political schedule; drafting and preparing materials for meetings and events.
• Monitoring political news and developments relevant to the campaign.
• Supporting the campaign's endorsement process, including scheduling, tracking materials, and announcements.
• Helping coordinate and staff campaign events, meetings, rallies, and other political engagements.
• Coordinating with surrogates, validators, and other campaign participants as needed.
• Conducting research on candidates, elected officials, organizations, and key constituencies.
• Supporting other political programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clear organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time
• Ability to obtain reliable transportation to complete the job duties as outlined above
• Previous campaign experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Level: Associate
• Salary: $5,000 monthly
• Location: Phoenix, AZ or Washington, DC (remote but must be based in either city)
• Job Type/Hours: This is a full-time position and its schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
• Travel: May require travel throughout Arizona
• Union: This is a union role
