Role Description

We are launching a brand-new podcast dedicated to bringing clinician stories to light, and we are looking for a passionate, empathetic, and compelling remote Podcast Host who is a current or former healthcare professional to lead these meaningful conversations.

This is an incredible opportunity to be a founding voice of a new podcast from the ground up and gain massive visibility across Vivian’s network of over 3 million clinicians, as well as our high-reach social channels and email newsletters. This is an ongoing engagement with room to grow; as the podcast gains traction, we plan to put significant additional resources behind it.

In this remote, contract role, you will leverage your firsthand industry experience to connect deeply with guests and dive into the authentic experiences, challenges, and triumphs of healthcare workers today. While you focus on conducting powerful interviews and co-creating engaging content, Vivian will handle guest bookings, post-production, editing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Host & Interview: Lead thoughtful, engaging, and empathetic interview-style conversations (up to 1 hour) with fellow healthcare workers, using your shared industry background to draw out impactful personal and professional stories.
• Collaborative Concepting: Partner with the Senior Director of Content Marketing & Community to shape episode themes, interview flow, and overall podcast narrative.
• Promote & Advocate: Serve as the face and voice of the podcast, actively helping promote episodes across personal and Vivian-branded digital touchpoints.
• Content Creation Support: Help record promotional teasers or audio/video clips to support distribution across social platforms.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Background: Must be a current or former healthcare professional (e.g., RN, LPN, Allied Health Professional, PA, etc.) with firsthand understanding of clinician life and culture.
• Exceptional Storytelling & Interviewing: Demonstrated talent for conducting deep, authentic interviews, active listening, and bringing human stories to life.
• Media Experience: Prior experience hosting a podcast, working in broadcasting, or creating content online as a social media creator (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn) is strongly preferred.
• Software: Experience using podcast recording software, like Riverside.fm, strongly preferred.
• Passion for Advocacy: A genuine passion for advocating for healthcare workers and amplifying clinician voices.
• Reliable & Collaborative: Strong communication skills and the ability to hit project deadlines while working closely with an internal creative team.

Requirements

• Role Type: Contract / Project-Based, ongoing
• Fee: approximately $300-$600 per episode
• Cadence: 2–4 episodes per month
• Equipment: Record remotely. If you don’t already have a mic or basic recording setup, Vivian Health will provide one.
• Production Support: Vivian Health provides full post-production, audio editing, design assets, marketing support, and guest booking assistance.
• Usage Rights: Vivian Health owns all recordings and content produced and may reuse and repurpose them across its channels.
• Unmatched Reach: Podcast will be heavily promoted directly to Vivian’s community of 3M+ clinicians via email, web, and social media channels.
• Target Launch: Fall 2026
