[Hiring] Platform Expert @Motion

Role Description

When a customer hits a wall inside Motion, you're the person who gets them moving again. Platform Experts work with our CSMs to take care of top DTC brands and agencies like Vuori, AG1, and HexClad. Think of it as support, but more strategic. You're not reading from a script or just escalating tickets up a chain. You're figuring out what's actually wrong, fixing it with AI at your side, and teaching the customer about creative strategy along the way.

A typical day includes:

• Starting in Intercom to handle customer conversations.
• Answering queries quickly, adhering to a first-response SLA.
• Managing open loops and customer conversations that often go beyond the initial question.
• Tracking open bugs with the dev team and passing customer feedback to the product team.
• Training AI agents and building new systems to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• No specific years of experience required; trajectory matters more than resume length.
• Coachability: actively seeks feedback and acts on it.
• Good bedside manner: makes customers feel taken care of.
• A systems brain: builds processes and tracks details effectively.
• Real curiosity: asks questions and explores underlying mechanisms.
• AI as a daily habit: finds smarter ways to work with evolving tools.
• Figure it out mentality: helps others solve problems, even without immediate answers.

Requirements

• Experience in support, QA, media buying, or paid social is a bonus.
• A technical bent (spreadsheets, APIs, light scripting) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ad platforms like Meta or TikTok is a plus.
