Position: Physics Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write physics problems with detailed systems, assumptions, and regimes.
• Provide reference answers for model grading.
• Grade model-written derivations and numerical work.
• Validate approximations, check limiting cases, and ensure units and scaling are correct.
• Flag models reaching correct expressions through flawed reasoning under changed assumptions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in physics or a related field with research experience.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Comfort with ambiguous tasks and willingness to flag unclear instructions.
