Role Description

This role involves providing diabetes management programs to private businesses in New Jersey via telemedicine.

Work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to improve their wellness and lifestyle.
Our office arranges patient appointments and handles administrative work, allowing you to focus on clinical one-on-one patient care.
Provide diabetes management program to patients based on our program guidelines.
Consult with patients to understand their health concerns, especially around diabetes.
Educate patients about healthy eating and lifestyle.
Educate patients about glucose monitoring.

Qualifications

MD or DO Degree.
Must have current NJ license; compact license or multiple state license strongly preferred.
Board certification in specialty.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post-graduate training.
Must be bilingual in Haitian Creole.
Background in family practice and preventive care preferred.
Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
Experience with diabetes management.
Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
Personal laptop or tablet required.

Requirements

Current NJ license; compact license or multiple state license strongly preferred.
Board certification in specialty.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post-graduate training.
Bilingual Haitian Creole speaking.
Experience with diabetes management.

Benefits

Competitive pay range of $140/hr - $150/hr for telemedicine.
Flexible per diem, 1099 contract work.
