Role Description
This role involves providing virtual care as a pediatric Physical Therapist for children with developmental delays.
- Perform virtual consult/evaluation appointments with children and their families
- Document clinically sound, personalized care plans and recommend therapy frequency
- Facilitate therapy appointments with child and their caregiver(s)
- Maintain up-to-date patient records including appointment summaries and progress monitoring
- Utilize the platform to recommend exercises/activities for caregivers
- Work to improve the platform, including review of developmental screener and expansion of exercises library
- Be responsive to the messaging portal to answer questions from users
- Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure holistic care for children and families
Qualifications
- Self-motivated pediatric Physical Therapist with telehealth experience
- Experience working with children (0-6) and their caregivers
- Up-to-date on evidence-based practices and enthusiastic about technology in care
- Passionate about caregiver guided intervention and play as therapy
- Flexible schedule for convenient appointment times for families
- License to practice in Massachusetts required
- Bilingual professional capabilities (English & Spanish) preferred
