Role Description

An order can contain every product detail and still be delayed by an incomplete delivery address. The Order Address Check Assistant looks at the routine information needed to pass an order to the next stage. This remote role involves:

• Checking supplied address fields
• Identifying obvious omissions
• Asking for missing details through the employer’s approved process

This role does not involve:

• Choosing a courier
• Promising a delivery date
• Making a judgement about whether an order should be accepted

The work involves:

• Beginning with an assigned online order record and the customer-provided address
• Checking required lines, postcode, and delivery contact details
• Comparing information with other parts of the same order when necessary
• Recording issues and asking focused questions instead of guessing

When a customer replies, you would:

• Update the permitted field
• Check that the revised address appears correctly in the record
• Not alter unrelated order details
• Pass changes to products, payment, or delivery promise to the appropriate colleague

A completed task leaves the address usable for the next team with a clear note if an exception remains. The pace is driven by incoming records and replies, with some items ready after a quick review while others may wait for a response.

You should be able to:

• Leave a pending order visibly pending and return to it when information arrives
• Read existing correspondence before sending a new request
• Check that any corrected field has saved properly before marking the task complete

Qualifications

• Accuracy with names, numbers, and addresses
• Ability to write a short polite message
• Experience with online forms or order systems
• Ability to follow team instructions about what can be changed
• Previous order support, data entry, or administration experience is useful but not required
• Demonstrated careful checking and dependable follow-up

Requirements

• Ability to send specific requests for missing information
• Ability to update designated fields and check saved results
• Ability to flag product changes outside of address checks
• Good written notes for remote work
• A home office space that allows focused checking
