Role Description

Five Below is seeking a senior Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Expert to lead the functional ownership, implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement. This individual will serve as the primary Procurement product SME and help shape a scalable procure-to-pay solution aligned with Five Below's business needs.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands-on functional expert who understands Oracle Fusion Procurement inside and out. This person must also be a collaborative relationship builder who can work effectively across Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, Operations, Technology, Engineering, and external implementation partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional SME and product leader for Oracle Fusion Procurement.
• Lead functional design, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Translate Procurement business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Support the end-to-end procure-to-pay lifecycle, including requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching, and financial integration.
• Configure and optimize Procurement approval workflows, purchasing controls, roles, procurement agents, business units, catalogs, content zones, and Smart Forms.
• Provide expertise in supplier and supplier-site configuration and related dependencies across Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Oracle Financials.
• Support Punchout, cXML, supplier integrations, catalogs, Blanket Purchase Agreements, Contract Purchase Agreements, and service procurement.
• Provide functional guidance for two-way and three-way matching, receiving, invoice tolerances, exceptions, and Procurement/AP controls.
• Support Procurement account derivation and General Ledger integration, including charge accounts, mapping sets, cost centers, natural accounts, and defaulting rules.
• Partner with Engineering and external vendors on interface specifications, field mapping, source-to-target requirements, dependencies, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate Oracle quarterly releases and determine impacts to Procurement functionality, configuration, integrations, controls, testing, and user experience.
• Support SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing, regression testing, production deployment, smoke testing, and post-production support.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
• Support Procurement reporting and analytics using tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to Product, Engineering, Application Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Build trusted relationships with business process owners and provide strong functional leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle Procurement experience with substantial hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement expertise.
• Experience supporting multiple Oracle Fusion Procurement implementations, expansions, or major enhancement programs.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement configuration, functionality, administration, and navigation.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Self Service Procurement and requisitions
  • Purchasing and purchase orders
  • Suppliers and supplier sites
  • Procurement approvals and BPM workflows
  • Receiving
  • Two-way and three-way matching
  • Punchout Procurement
  • Catalogs, Smart Forms, and Content Zones
  • Blanket and Contract Purchase Agreements
  • Procurement roles, security, and business units
  • Procurement-to-AP and Financials integration
  • Account and charge-account derivation
• Strong understanding of the complete procure-to-pay lifecycle and its dependencies across Procurement, Receiving, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and related Oracle modules.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations and related patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, cXML, FBDI, SFTP or file-based interfaces, OIC, or middleware.
• Ability to review interface specifications and partner with technical teams on mapping, integration design, testing, error handling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with roles, security, approval authority, segregation of duties, and SOX controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate independently as a senior functional lead in a lean team environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Broader Oracle Fusion corporate finance experience.
• Experience with Payables, General Ledger, Inventory, Budgetary Control, Fixed Assets, or Project Financial Management.
• Familiarity with Redwood Procurement.
• Experience with Supplier Management, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Qualification, and UNSPSC classification.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Procurement analytics, and dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
