[Hiring] Oracle DBA + Migrate Database onto and off of Exadata @Texas State Library and Archives Commision

Role Description

Oracle Exadata Admin: Responsible for the support of migration efforts utilizing Oracle Cloud@Customer with Exadata, releases of Oracle, installing, upgrading and patching Oracle databases.

• Writes scripts or JCL and tuning complex SQL code.
• Analyzes and resolves data issues and troubleshoots problems.
• Responsible for tuning existing and new databases.
• Maintains databases, ongoing systems technical support, and ensures the integrity of the environment.
• Participates in projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Design and plan Exadata deployments and configurations.
• Migrate databases onto and off of Exadata x7 to x9 or X10.
• Perform platform health checks.
• Perform periodic patches/updates for both DOMU and system patches.
• Tune performance of Oracle Databases on Exadata.
• Oracle Exadata Patching (GI, DB, DOMU).
• ADG Active Data Guard Configuration in multiple Data Centers.
