[Hiring] Oracle Application Specialist II @Jamf

Role Description

The Oracle Application Specialist II is responsible for providing advanced support and oversight for Oracle-based ERP and EPM systems, including troubleshooting complex issues, managing escalations, monitoring system performance, and supporting Oracle system administration. This role leads initiatives to improve support processes, mentors junior analysts, and acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPM platforms (e.g., Financials, EDM), and a collaborative mindset to ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role is offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN, Austin, TX, or Eau Claire, WI. You will be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in one of these communities.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Provide Tier 1/2 support for the Oracle ERP system, responding to user requests, troubleshooting access or data issues, and logging tickets using the internal ticketing system.
• Monitor and proactively manage support queues (e.g., Jira), ensuring SLAs are met, tickets are appropriately prioritized, and resolution quality is high.
• Lead root cause analysis and permanent resolution efforts for recurring incidents or systemic issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 support analysts; review work for accuracy, completeness, and best practice alignment.
• Partner with business users, application owners, and IT teams to identify support needs, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), support documentation, and escalation protocols.
• Assist in Oracle ERP release and patch management, leading smoke testing, impact analysis, and validation of business-critical functionality.
• Assist with ERP Migrations to Production, supporting our Back Office Delivery Team.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline support workflows, reduce resolution time, and enhance user experience.
• Provide after-hours support or participate in on-call rotation for critical issues or planned maintenance activities.
• Support End of Month and End of Quarter Tasks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle ERP (Required)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion), RMCS, or related Oracle modules preferred
• Excellent Organizational Skills (Required)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (Required)
• Excellent Critical Thinking Process (Required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of JIRA or similar project management software (Preferred)
• Experience in systems implementation methodologies including waterfall and agile
• Experience gathering inputs and synthesizing into business outcomes
• Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work on projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently complete time-sensitive tasks
