Position: Multimodal Optics

Type: Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Solve complex optics and mathematical physics problems using textual and visual information.
• Interpret ray diagrams, lens/mirror diagrams, and interference patterns to provide accurate solutions.
• Apply concepts such as reflection, refraction, Snell’s law, and diffraction to enhance problem-solving.
• Explain reasoning clearly and verify final answers to ensure accuracy.
• Flag ambiguous or incomplete problem statements to improve clarity and precision.

Qualifications

• Strong background in optics, physics, applied mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with geometric optics, wave optics, lenses, mirrors, and optical instruments.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
