Position Overview

Dwight Global Online School, which was recently named the #1 best online high school in the United States by niche.com, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and efficient Assistant Registrar.

This position is remote, and while the individual may be located anywhere, they should plan for regular work hours between 9 am and 5 pm eastern time. Occasionally, this position will be required to work outside standard business hours or on the weekend. The Assistant Registrar will report to the Registrar. The Assistant Registrar is a full time position.

Job Duties

Assistant Registrar Duties

Assists Registrar in performing all duties related to student enrollment and registration, including:

• Maintain and audit student’s academic record within the Student Information System (SIS), Blackbaud, Google Drive, Canvas, Magnus, and SCOIR
• Coordinate with Admissions to ensure all new students are efficiently onboarded
• Account creation for new student, parent and faculty in all school systems (Google, Blackbaud, Canvas, Zoom, etc)
• Coordinate all incoming student’s math placement exams in Canvas
• Maintain and audit student health records and documents on Blackbaud
• Process student schedule changes and create new courses
• Assist with academic trimester grade reporting for Grades 6-12
• Assist with class rosters, teacher and student schedules
• Assist with organizing Parent Teacher Conferences and provide technical support to parents and teachers
• Assist with Canvas course creation, teacher assignments, and student enrollment
• Manage Dwight Global’s Summer Program registration
• Manage daily attendance and attendance reporting
• Fulfill student records requests, including complete transcripts, report cards and assessment data
• Serve as point of contact for parents to update student information in the school electronic directory
• Review transcripts and enter transfer credits to Blackbaud
• Assist faculty and parents with questions on navigating Dwight Global’s SIS and LMS and Zoom
• Other duties as needed and requested by the Registrar or Head of School

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (experience in formulas and functions such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, etc)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience with Canvas, Blackbaud, and Zoom is preferred but not required
• Experience with G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms and Drive) or Microsoft Office
• At minimum of 1-3 years experience in an administrative role
