Role Description

To assist in the daily operation of oasis scrubbing and coding, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards/regulations.

• Review Oasis documentation for accuracy
• Diagnosis coding of the Oasis on a timely basis
• Communicates with field staff of any corrections that may be needed for the completion of the Plan of Care
• Submits daily completed Oasis documents that have been coded, locked and certified
• Reports any educational needs to Administrative Team as identified upon documentation review
• Reviews inpatient and physician documentation to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality patient care
• Performs chart audits as directed
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Administrative Team
• Participates with educational and professional groups as directed by the Administrative Team
• Maintains confidentiality of patient medical information
• Is knowledgeable of the Agency’s organization, functions and services
• Promotes and maintains an environment that is compliant with Federal, State and local regulatory agencies
• Complies with Agency dress code policy
• Maintains efficient flow of Agency by reporting to work at assigned or scheduled times; follows procedures for notification of absence or time off requests
