[Hiring] NRTL Certification Manager @Bureau Veritas

Role Description

Manage and maintain the NRTL Product Safety Program in coordination with Certification Director within the global Bureau Veritas network.

• Responsible for the management of all aspects of the certification programs for NRTL - Product Safety.
• Responsible for operation of certification teams, quality system maintenance, and expansions related to the accreditations program.
• Monitor compliance and enforce all program rules with partner test labs, inspection centers, and inspectors.

• Technical aptitude, the ability to quickly assimilate and assess new information and develop plans to capitalize or react to it.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts, processes, and systems.
• Client interaction skills: Demonstrated ability to work with customers, determine their requirements, and ensure total satisfaction.
• Problem-solving skills including the ability to lead diverse groups through a problem-solving process.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations.
• Ability to work well with peers and possess highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations and standards.
• Strong training and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment pertaining to Certification evaluations.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BS technical degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Quality Assurance knowledge desired.
• Ten (10) years of progressive experience in the testing or certification of electrical products.
• Demonstrated experience leading a diverse group of people.
• Demonstrated experience in dealing directly with customers and auditors.
• 3+ years in hazardous location testing, evaluation, and certification (ATEX, IECEx, NEC Article 500/505 standards).
• Demonstrated expertise in hazardous location project reviews, including risk assessment and compliance validation.
• Familiarity with industry standards (NFPA 70, IEC 60079 series) and regulatory frameworks.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.

Benefits

• Compensation Range: $135k - $140k annually.
