[Hiring] NetSuite Administrator @WP Engine

Role Description

As a NetSuite Administrator, Financial Systems at WP Engine, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing the financial systems that power our business operations. In this role, you will serve as a NetSuite expert, managing system configurations, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes, integrations, and overall system performance. You'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise beyond NetSuite by working with platforms like Coupa, Avalara, Nexonia, and more.

The Day to Day

• Serve as domain specialist and systems administrator for our NetSuite ERP to help the organization maximize efficiency and scale.
• Work as a Netsuite Administrator / financial business systems analyst on the Financial Systems team.
• Participate in implementation and integration projects working with multiple teams to refine user roles, permissions and controls.
• Provide outstanding internal support on system issues including system availability, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate system issues, identify alternatives, and implement timely solutions.
• Learn new systems and tools to improve processes and architecture.
• Document requirements, design and analyze a variety of reports or queries. Design reports related to internal systems for management and audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite with 2-3+ years professional administration experience.
• Familiarity with various NetSuite modules such as SuiteBilling, Fixed Assets, Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), etc.
• Experience in developing custom solutions within NetSuite.
• Understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
• Experience in configuring and customizing Netsuite ERP solutions.
• Hands-on experience of complex Order-to-Cash lifecycles, including advanced troubleshooting of multi-system integration bottlenecks, subscription billing edge cases, and revenue recognition alignment.
• Knowledge of systems infrastructure, industry standards, user access control, compliance and security practices.
• Ability to design and communicate reports in a user-friendly manner.
• Fundamental understanding of internal controls, user permissions and inheritance.
• Strong analytical, change management, task management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, and at all levels of an organization.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Proactively coordinate task resolution across multiple stakeholder teams (Accounting, Order 2 Cash, Tax, other development teams, etc.).
• Natural problem solving abilities, an inquisitive personality, a continuous learning attitude, and an eagerness to tackle the challenge of big problems.

Requirements

• Strong experience working in or with financial teams.
• Familiarity with financial functions and terminology.
• Experience working with Avalara, Nexonia, Coupa, Egencia a plus.
• Exposure to systems such as Workday and Salesforce a plus.
