[Hiring] National Consultant Social and Behaviour Change @AGORA

Role Description

The consultancy aims to support UNICEF’s social listening activities to better understand the needs, perceptions, behaviours and barriers affecting vulnerable children and families and inform programme planning and implementation.

• Collect and analyse real-time social data on access to essential services and inclusion of refugees in host communities and systems.
• Conduct social listening on key issues, including:
  • health
  • education
  • violence against children
  • Ukraine emergency response
  • mental health and psychosocial support
  • climate change
• Support the integration of social listening findings into UNICEF’s programmatic response.

The consultancy will be for a period of 6 months and will report to UNICEF’s Social and Behaviour Change Officer.

Qualifications

• Education in social sciences (sociology, anthropology, psychology, education, communication) or another relevant technical field (marketing).
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • digital engagement
  • social marketing
• Knowledge of social listening and social listening tools (YouScan) is required.
• Fluency in Romanian and English is required.
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency organization is considered as an asset.
