Role Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for multilingual professionals experienced in call evaluation, transcription, language review, pronunciation assessment, and structured audio quality workflows. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured call review, multilingual transcription, pronunciation and fluency assessment, audio quality evaluation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their language expertise to review scripted or semi-structured calls, evaluate speech quality, complete transcription tasks, follow detailed scoring guidelines, and support accurate, consistent multilingual review workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Call Evaluation & Speech Quality Review
  • Review scripted or semi-structured calls in the assigned language
  • Evaluate pronunciation, prosody, phrasing, fluency, and overall call quality against provided guidelines
  • Identify deviations from standard accent, expected speech patterns, and language-specific pronunciation norms
  • Apply consistent scoring criteria across call review tasks
• Transcription & Language Accuracy
  • Complete transcription tasks accurately and efficiently in the assigned language
  • Review audio content for linguistic accuracy, clarity, completeness, and consistency
  • Ensure transcripts reflect spoken content with strong attention to detail
  • Follow project-specific formatting, labeling, and quality standards
• Structured Task Execution & Quality Support
  • Work through short-term, high-intensity review workflows with consistency and precision
  • Follow detailed instructions, scoring rubrics, and project timelines
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy across multilingual evaluation and transcription deliverables
  • Complete required setup steps and onboarding tasks within the requested timeline when applicable

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in one or more required languages
• Experience with call evaluation, transcription, audio review, linguistic QA, language assessment, data annotation, or structured evaluation work
• Strong ability to evaluate pronunciation, phrasing, prosody, fluency, and language naturalness
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency in scoring
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work within defined timelines
• Comfort working in fast-moving, quality-focused project environments

Educational Background

• A degree or professional background in linguistics, translation, interpretation, language studies, communications, education, speech/language work, or a related field is helpful
• Equivalent practical experience in transcription, language evaluation, call review, annotation, translation, or multilingual QA is also highly relevant

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, AI-related evaluation, call center QA, speech evaluation, transcription, or linguistic quality review
• Familiarity with multilingual transcription guidelines, scoring rubrics, audio review tools, or quality assurance workflows
• Experience working with one or more of the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Dutch, Japanese, Danish, Hindi, Bengali, Arabic, Korean, Czech, Italian, or Turkish
• Ability to work accurately under short sprint timelines
• Strong written communication skills in English

Contract Details

• Independent contractor role

• Selected professionals may be asked to complete paid setup and security onboarding steps within the required project timeline
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance
• Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
