Role Description
You will plan, design, deliver, create content and assess for Tiro’s Level 6 Applied Sciences programme mixed cohorts for TFM5101 module and plan, design and deliver content for our Live lesson seminars, meet lesson plans, curriculum design and align with flipped learning model for VLE materials.
- Stimulate curiosity and enthusiasm for the module to provide a transformational learning experience for students.
- Provide an inclusive and friendly learning environment that respects individual learners and diverse learning communities.
- Work closely with Tiro’s Curriculum Lead and the Digital Education team as well as other internal teams (learning/operations) and external partners (alumni/employers/awarding bodies).
- Act as the key contact for learners on the module and share the principles of partnership working with students.
You’ll deliver a variety of specialist modules/content/materials/assessments that are learner-centric, stretching and delivered in live and asynchronous sessions via digital platforms.
- Inspire and engage learners so attendance to sessions is something to look forward to.
- Provide rich feedback on assessments relevant to the workplace context.
- Anticipate, spot and address issues/challenges to keep learners progressing with their learning.
- Drive the progress of your learners, keeping them on track to complete their learning within agreed timelines.
- Provide up to date reports, updating systems, and attending meetings to ensure key stakeholders can support and feedback to learners.
Core Deliverables
- Design robust module delivery plans, ensuring they are clear and instructive.
- Design and develop subject-specific content for Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and Live Lesson Delivery that meet the learning objectives for the module.
- Attend module meetings, cross-module meetings and assessment boards throughout the module.
- Deliver up to 10 (2 hour) Weekly Live Online Lessons per module.
- Ensure module assessments are marked and returned to learners in accordance with Tiro’s Assessment Policy and Moderation Process.
- Provide high quality, appropriate and timely feedback to learners on their assessments and questions.
Qualifications
- Significant practical experience in project management, ideally within an industry relevant to the learners (Laboratory Testing or Science Manufacturing).
- Experience managing projects using recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or APM frameworks.
- A degree qualification or higher in Project Management, Business Management or a related field.

- Ability to deliver training to develop and impart knowledge to others.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Suitability to work with children and vulnerable adults.
Benefits
- Contract position to run until June 2025 with the possibility of extension.
