[Hiring] Medical Science Liaison Manager @Dexcom

Role Description

This role involves engaging healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to advance the adoption of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology.

• Craft compelling narratives that make complex science accessible and exciting.
• Directly advance awareness and adoption of life-changing technology.
• Collaborate with passionate teammates, thought leaders, and industry partners.
• Deliver key clinical messages to a diverse audience including physicians, NP/PAs, PharmDs, and CDCES.
• Build and nurture relationships with KOLs and drive advocacy and education programs.
• Support product launches, training sessions, and clinical application workshops.
• Develop concise, evidence-based presentations and educational materials.
• Engage and inspire audiences at local, regional, and national programs.
• Work with internal teams to deliver clinical education on diabetes management strategies.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Nurse (RN), Pharmacist (PharmD), Nurse Practitioner, or relevant clinical degree.
• CDCES certification is required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience educating and treating people with diabetes.
• 3 years of direct experience working with CGM technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Requirements

• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest diabetes devices and technology.
• Strong understanding of Dexcom CGM and competitive products.

Experience and Education Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
• A graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Travel Required

• 25-50%

• Home office location; not required to live within commuting distance of assigned Dexcom site.
• Hybrid working environment may be available for those within commuting distance.
