Role Description
This role involves being a part of the mechanical engineering team, working on designs and assemblies as well as driving and assisting continuous improvement projects.
- Innovate and generate mechanical designs for new products, improvements to existing ones, and product assemblies.
- Serve as project lead on mechanical-related projects.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment, helping to establish lean but effective practices.
- Deliver high quality and timely results to meet the business needs.
- Work cross-functionally to contribute to deliverables during the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other equivalent.
- Experience and familiarity with CAD software tools, such as SolidWorks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- An autonomous self-starter personality with a culture of collaboration.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
