Role Description

The Master Patient Index Specialist ensures the accuracy and integrity of the MPI. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Patient identifier merges, unmerges, contact moves, and chart correction.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for medical record number questions.
• Works closely with CarePATH, registration, and scheduling at all Ensemble Health client facilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of health information management (HIM) experience.
• MS Office experience.
• Proficient with EMR.

Requirements

• CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).
