Role Description
The Arena BOM Support role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of Bill of Materials (BOMs) within an Agile environment. This role plays a critical part in managing product lifecycle data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in BOM processes.
- Develop, update, and manage BOMs to ensure accuracy and completeness of product information, with Arena toolset.
- Maintain part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and revision levels within the BOM system.
- Work closely with product management, engineering, and contract manufacturing teams to align BOMs with product requirements and design specifications.
- Support stakeholders by providing accurate BOM-related data and resolving any issues that arise.
- Verify BOM data integrity, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all product records.
- Identify and resolve BOM discrepancies between product designs, system records, and manufacturing processes.
- Identify areas for process improvement in BOM management and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Support automation initiatives and best practices to enhance overall BOM management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Arena PLM (highly desired).
- Strong knowledge of BOM management processes in a product lifecycle environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to analyze and resolve BOM discrepancies effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work cross-functionally.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to BOM management.
