Role Description

The Coordination of Benefits (COB) Manager works within the COB Business Unit, specializing in managing cases where individuals have multiple health insurance plans. In this role, you'll lead a team dedicated to achieving strategic goals that benefit our team, Cotiviti, and our client relationships.

• Lead a team to meet established goals and deliver financial targets as defined by audit expectations.
• Assist the leadership team with developing the team’s strategic plan for future growth.
• Manage people, including interviewing, forecasting, budgeting, and retention efforts.
• Foster a culture aligned with Cotiviti’s values of Collaboration, Openness, Accountability, and Customer-Driven.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma - Required
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) and/or a minimum of at least 6 - 8 years related experience in healthcare.
• At least 4 - 5 years Cotiviti experience recommended for internal opportunities.
• Prior exposure mentoring, leading a team, and responsibility for team outcomes (Preferred).
• Healthcare industry experience, including knowledge of Coordination of Benefits (Required).
• Advanced digital proficiency across Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven.
• Passionate about leading a team and maintaining a safe culture.
• Ability to navigate various personalities and excel at conflict resolution.
• Understands and embodies Cotiviti Core Values, Strategic Pillars, and Operations Disciplines.

Requirements

• Communicate with others to exchange information.

• Occasional Travel (10% – 15%) as directed by Senior Leadership.
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

• Provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Benefits

• Base compensation ranges from $84,000 to $120,000 annually.
• Eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
