Role Description

UW Medicine IT Services has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, Automation and Orchestration.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Providing direction, management, program development, and administration for UW Medicine’s Automation and Orchestration strategy.
• Managing teams, including:
  • API Integration Services
  • Managed File Transfer Services
  • Automation Solutions
  • Citizen Development Services
• Supervising business analysts, developers, software engineers, and third-party consultants.
• Coordinating all project development involving automation and orchestration initiatives in various technical domains:
  • Go Anywhere MFT
  • UiPath RPA and other RPA tools
  • Mulesoft Anypoint API manager
  • AI
  • Future Agentic Orchestration tools
• Representing assigned technology portfolios to executive leadership, governance committees, and stakeholder groups.
• Collaborating with technical leads and staff to oversee solution design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Developing strategic roadmaps for integration, automation, managed file transfer, and citizen development services.
• Establishing governance, operational processes, metrics, standards, and best practices.
• Driving innovation through adoption of emerging integration, automation, AI, and low-code technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience/education.
• 6+ years of IT experience, including:
  • 4+ years' experience with Integration Technologies.
  • Experience developing appropriate systems and metrics for measuring progress, backlogs, workloads, staffing, and other project resources.
  • Responsibility for leading teams supporting large-scale enterprise customers, both internal and external.
• Deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence trends and implications for the organization.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience managing technology teams in performance turnaround situations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience working with multiple, diverse stakeholders in a complex project environment.
• Experience establishing systems design and programming standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage issue resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Healthcare IT environment.
• 3+ years supporting Go Anywhere or Mulesoft Anypoint Manager.
• Proven customer service orientation with a history of delivering high-quality products on time.
• Experience with UIPath or other Remote Process/Automation Technologies.

Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $150,000.00 annual
• Pay Range Maximum: $175,008.00 annual
