Role Description

The Management and Occupancy Review Specialist is responsible for conducting desk and onsite Management and Occupancy Reviews and follow up actions for properties to ensure compliance with HUD regulations and PBCA requirements under the ACC. This role involves preparing MOR reports, identifying deficiencies, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining accurate records of all MOR activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housing compliance, property management, or related field.
• Familiarity with HUD programs and PBCA operations strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HUD regulations, PBCA requirements, and MOR procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in HUD systems (iREMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple reviews and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HUD systems (EIV, TRACS/iMAX, iREMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to travel (up to 75%).
• This is a fully remote position. A home office is required in compliance with the Agency’s policies regarding telecommuting.
• Travel is within the state of Florida and the USVI.
