[Hiring] Machinery Specialist @Starr Insurance

Role Description

Starr Boiler and Machinery Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is open to candidates based in Northern IA or Southwest WI.

• Conduct boiler and pressure vessel inspections.
• Ensure the safety and compliance of clients' machinery and equipment.
• Risk Assessment capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• NB commission with "IS" endorsement or ability to obtain a NB commission within 12 months of hire.
• Experience in conducting jurisdictional inspections of regulated boilers and pressure vessels.
• Commissions in IA and WI are a plus.
• Good organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to manage a multi-state territory.
• Capable of performing internal boiler examinations, requiring physical capability and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of client management.
• Provide clear and concise reports and recommendations.
• Good knowledge of ASME, NBIC, and jurisdictional regulations.
