Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods and materials between our suppliers, warehouses, and customers. This is a full-time, remote position with the opportunity for growth within our rapidly expanding company.

• Coordinate and track shipments from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers
• Communicate with suppliers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update inventory systems as needed
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excesses
• Assist with the development and implementation of logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any logistics-related issues or delays
• Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures is preferred
• Experience with remote work is a plus
