[Hiring] Loan Closing Specialist @Center Street Lending

Role Description

This position is remote but requires you to work West Coast Hours.

As a Loan Closing Specialist, you will be producing closing documents, reviewing closing documents, and communicating with third parties such as title and escrow. Further responsibilities include:

• Experience in Private Lending, and Private/RTL/DSCR Lending
• Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with internal and external parties
• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy to eliminate risks during funding process
• Understanding loan closing and escrow documents
• Balancing settlement statements/HUDs
• Communicating with title and escrow to collect documents necessary to fund the loan
• Working with internal teams: Underwriters, Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, Appraisal and Post Closing
• Creating structured timelines and coordinating internally to ensure that approved files are clearly documented according to guidelines
• Being able to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organization
• Taking initiative to follow up with internal and external parties to get a file across the finish line in a timely manner
• Preparing funding requests for internal wire team and escrow
• Adhering to established SLA’s
• Maintaining an average pipeline of 15+ loans and funds 35-40+ loans per month

Qualifications

• 1-2 years preferred experience as a loan closer or processor
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Detail oriented and has a team player attitude
• Familiarity with title and escrow documents, knowledge of mortgage terms
• Experience with Encompass (preferred, not required)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Adobe

• Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation

• $28.84 - $33.65 per hour, depending on experience
