[Hiring] Life Claim Administrator @Manulife

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Life Claim Administrator for our Affinity Life Claims teams. As a claim administrator, you will provide support to our adjudicators and internal partners to ensure timely claim processing and accurate claim set up.

• Search systems to locate all contracts held by the deceased, set up death notification, and request application files & certificates
• Prepare written correspondence to communicate and follow up on pending claims
• Prioritize inquiries and follow ups so they are handled within service standards by attaching to appropriate file and distributing to appropriate adjudicator
• Manage the business inbox and voicemail to ensure all items are cleared within 24 hours
• Prepare monthly reporting for SLAs
• Correspond with Third Party Administrators as required for claims
• Set up claim lines for new TPA claims, mail claim packages as required

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years’ experience in claim administration or equivalent industry exposure
• Office 365; including Excel, Outlook & Word
