Role Description

To strengthen UNICEF’s global fundraising capabilities, the Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) division is establishing a centralised learning ecosystem—The UNICEF Academy—to equip fundraisers across National Committees and Country Offices with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to thrive in a competitive fundraising landscape.

The purpose of this assignment is to support the design, development, and facilitation of the Academy’s high-value fundraising and partnerships pillar, delivering a unified and strategic capacity-building programme for mid-level managers that will fit within the broader UNICEF Academy portfolio.

• Manage and further develop the Academy’s flagship programme: the High Value GLAM programme.
• Collaborate with relevant PFP stakeholders of the corporate channel.
• Contribute to the creation of a best-in-class learning experience that bridges high value income streams.
• Strengthen cross-channel collaboration and prepare fundraisers to lead UNICEF’s most complex and high-impact partnerships.
• Provide continuous support in knowledge management, internal communication, and partnership support to the Corporate Partnership team.
• Look at the overall Corporate Partnerships learning offer and identify gaps.
• Propose solutions to strengthen the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Fundraising, International Development, or related areas.
• Alternatively, a first-level university degree in a relevant field combined with two additional years of qualifying working experience may be accepted.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience in private sector fundraising or related high value fundraising channel.
• Experience in coordinating and curating content and managing multiple channels (website, newsletter, podcast, short videos).
• Experience in either learning and development, capacity building, or knowledge management.
• Experience in publishing in SharePoint.
• Experience in managing networks, building communities, and organizing quality events online and offline.
• Certified facilitation skills in the field of personal leadership.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a strong learning culture.
• Proven track record of working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated collaborative approach with strong coordination skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.
