This role involves providing interpretation services for immigration court proceedings.

• Provide accurate and complete consecutive interpretation between Kham and English during immigration court proceedings
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Follow court interpreting protocols and ethical standards
• Ensure clear and effective communication between all parties involved
• Be available and prepared at the scheduled time

Qualifications

• Must be based in the United States
• Proven court interpreting experience, preferably in immigration hearings
• Fluency in Kham (Nepali Dialect) and English
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and court procedures
• Excellent listening, memory retention, and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and reliability
