Role Description

Jefferson is seeking Junior Program Analyst to support the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Mission Support Services. This role will be remote; however, travel may be required during the period of performance. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.

The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

  • Support IBC AQD project initiatives, including acquisition and/or financial assistance activities, through research, coordination, documentation, and other project support.
  • Assist with development and execution of project plans and implementation activities for acquisition and financial assistance initiatives.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze information from stakeholders and other sources to support operational, compliance, and project-related assessments.
  • Assist with requirements development and documentation, workflow mapping, and identification of inefficiencies, redundancies, and risks.
  • Support development of policies, guidance, recommendations, and communication materials addressing operational and/or compliance issues.
  • Assist with modernization and efficiency improvement initiatives, including solution testing, implementation support, and integration activities.
  • Support development of dashboards and data visualizations, including Power BI dashboards, graphical representations, interactive dashboards or stories, and infographics.
  • Assist with unit, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing and support continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and interoperability initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of relevant experience supporting program analysis, business analysis, project management, acquisition, financial assistance, or related activities.
  • Basic knowledge of analytical, research, and project management concepts and practices.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and summarize information from multiple sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, manage multiple assignments, and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well-organized work products.

Requirements

  • Coursework in business administration, public administration, organizational development, management information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools.
