[Hiring] Junior IT Procurement Specialist @GR8 Tech

Role Description

This role exists to ensure our operating activities never stop by procuring essential IT goods, licenses, and services. You’ll help us maintain business continuity by managing the full procurement lifecycle with a focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

What you’ll drive:

• Strategy & Execution
  • Implementing procurement strategies for IT-related goods and services;
  • Processing and tracking purchase orders, applications for payments, invoices, and receipts;
  • Carrying out sourcing, evaluation, and selection of vendors for IT licenses and domains;
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases of all IT equipment, licenses, and internet services;
  • Processing applications for compensation of small IT equipment purchased by employees independently.
• Domain & Asset Ownership
  • Managing all company domains, including purchasing, renewal, and settings configuration;
  • Controlling domain balances and managing associated risks or contact info changes;
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies throughout the procurement process;
  • Maintaining a "ready-to-action" inventory of laptops and other IT-related items.
• Commercials & Optimization
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure best value;
  • Constantly searching for savings through unused seats, payment term changes, or volume consolidation;
  • Handling vendor management, including relationship building and issue resolution;
  • Collaborating with the Finance department to ensure budget adherence and cost control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT procurement (preferably in a tech-driven organization).
• Experience with 1C or other ERP systems.
• Upper-Intermediate English and fluent Ukrainian or Russian.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of IT equipment/services (licenses, laptops, internet products).
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Detail-oriented and self-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
• Understanding of contract management and legal aspects of procurement.
