[Hiring] Junior HSEC / Social / ESG Officer @ESS

Role Description

The Junior HSEC / Social / ESG Officer will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, Environment, Social, or ESG requirements across projects in Guinea. The role involves field-based monitoring, stakeholder engagement, data collection, and reporting in line with Guinean regulations, client standards, and international E&S frameworks. This role is suitable for a proactive professional with hands-on experience in HSEC, social safeguards, or ESG, seeking to grow within project-based or consulting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, HSE, Sustainability, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in HSEC, social safeguards, ESG, or E&S roles, preferably in mining, infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HSEC and ESG principles and field implementation.
• Familiarity with ESIAs, ESMPs, and monitoring frameworks.
• Understanding of international standards (IFC PS, World Bank ESF, AfDB).
• Strong reporting and data collection skills.
• Ability to work in remote and multicultural environments.
• Good communication skills in French (English an advantage).
